About me

Olivia Karp is a celebrated Climate Mobility Activist based in Canada. The term passionate is what describe’s her activism style. Olivia uses her passion to grow, learn, and collaborate with others on climate mobility topics. She uses her creativity and passion to foster to drive change in the climate mobility space.

Olivia launched The Climate Mobility Community Action Network (CMCAN) in December of 2023. The mission and vision of the nonprofit is a network that works to collaborate, educate and provide a platform for those impacted by climate migration, displacement, experts and various stakeholders. Since then she has been leading here nonprofit on arrange of advocacy campaigns, social media posts, events workshops, and collaboration. She is know working on building a platform to further educate others on climate mobility and the impacts it can have. Her work has been featured on TEDX platforms, The International Organization for Migration (IOM), and at the Environmental & Climate Mobilities Network. The reason why she is so driven about this topic has to do with how climate mobility is already happening in our lifetime. It is vital for others to understand it and how to better prepare for it.
